Statement of Work
Jo’s inspiration is derived from many sources in particular the world around her. For her the important factors are texture, pattern and colour and she is delighted when her work can be viewed in detail and is in a position to be touched.
Textile Practice
In Jo’s work she takes a mixed media approach, incorporating both hand and machine stitching as well as making use of the many modern materials available to artists. She also likes to include found items in her pieces.
